Apricot Trout 
In Germany, Blau-gelb (Blue Yellow)

Right: 
Blau-gelb drake

These have  mallard rather than  dusky alleles giving them eye-stripes, like the Trout Runner. They also have two blue genes, making them 'apricot' Trout.

Translation of the German Standard

Drake:

Head and neck as far as the open-back, white neck ring pigeon-blue.

Below the neck, breast and shoulders red-brown with faint silver edging.

Back and belly rye flour colour.

Lower back with rump, sex curls and under-tail, as far as the vent, pigeon-blue.

Wing pale blue grey with pigeon blue speculum and blue white edging.

Bill yellow with greenish tone with yellow bean, light markings on bean temporarily allowed.

Feet and legs orange coloured.

 

Duck:

Head, neck and breast split-pea yellow, belly and back colour permitted as far as the tail.

Eye-stripes: over the eyes as far as the end of the head and lower half of the eye from the bill up to eye (reaching as far as the throat) cream coloured.

Wing coverts light cream coloured.

Lower back and tail pale blue grey.

Speculum pigeon blue with blue white edging.

Bill brown yellow.

Feet and legs orange coloured.

These are the same as the Blau-gelb, except they also have brown genes making them 'split-pea yellow' instead of 'blue yellow'

Translation of the German Standard

Drake:

Head grey-brown as far as the open-back, white neck ring.

Breast red-brown (fire).

Back split-pea yellow, the tail end somewhat darker.

Speculum grey brown.

Belly and tail cream coloured.

Bill yellow with light greenish shade—brown bean.

Feet and legs orange coloured.

 

Duck:  

Head, neck, back as far as tail and breast pea-yellow.

Eye-stripes and throat cream coloured.

Wing coverts and flights pale cream coloured.

Speculum grey brown.

Bill yellow brown with light greenish tone—brown bean.

Feet and legs orange coloured.
